Documents and Artifacts

Locating documents and significant family artifacts will help move the process along.

Locating documents that illustrate the family history is a necessary step in preserving a legacy. These documents include birth certificates, religious records, immigration papers, news clippings and old correspondence. Legacy Preservation will scan these items for you to preserve them digitally at the highest quality.

Other significant artifacts that help piece together a family’s history include old home movies, photographs and historically significant audio or video tapes. Get these items ready for preservation or transfer to new formats (analog to digital).

Don’t forget to include family heirlooms and keepsakes – these all come with stories. A pocket watch is just a nice old watch unless someone records its story.
